Olympic excellence by CeramTec-ETEC

What CeramTec-ETEC's staff members have in mind are high-performance ceramics - new fields of application are continuously explored, and new products are developed. One of the most recent products of this innovative way of thinking are inrun tracks with ceramic nubs for ski jumps, e.g. the Olympic ski jumps at Turin and the ski jump in Bischofshofen (one of the four ski jumps of the Four Hills Tournament).

Further examples are composite systems made of ceramic and polyurethane. They are only half as heavy when compared to ceramic/metal composites, and therefore their handling and assembly is much easier. Thanks to the thin-bed technique, pipelines with different nominal diameters (with or without wear protection linings) can be joined or replaced without the need for reducing sockets or adapters. These are just three examples out of many others that demonstrate the company's technological competence.

No matter which product we are talking about - quality always comes first. CeramTec-ETEC is of course certified. Since 1997, the company has been fully complying with the latest requirements, currently according to DIN ISO 9001:2000 Standards - in 2006, consecutively for the fourth time. And again and again in the first place there are CeramTec-ETEC's creative and committed staff members bringing forward the company's success by means of their enthusiasm for innovation, their know-how and their dedication.

Here you will meet people who are looking forward to develop new ideas together with you and to solve your problems - just give it a try!

Quality philosophy

We are aware of the fact that our customers’ requirements are the standard of all thought and action, and for the quality of our service. Customer satisfaction is the key for our success, and what we are striving for is to see our customers coming back to us – and not the product we sold them.

Therefore, it is our primary aim to fully satisfy our customers’ needs regarding product quality, service, technical advice, delivery reliability and flexibility. It is of utmost importance to us to make continuous improvements in everything we do, and to introduce innovations in order to secure competitive advantages.

CeramTec-ETEC’s staff members are the most important asset of the company. We aim at offering optimal job training to our staff, and to make available to them any kind of support, facilities and most advanced technological aid as well as optimal working conditions. We care about our human resources and apply them –just as raw materials and energy – as efficiently as possible. We avoid environmental pollution in order to minimize risks for humans and the environment.

Both as an individual staff member and as a member of the team as a whole we are responsible for the way in which we act, and also for the resulting consequences of these acts. A good working atmosphere is an important factor to encourage positive communication and personal commitment. It is one of our aims that the working environment is beneficial for health and well-being of each staff member.
